When it comes to automotive and car dealership billboard campaigns, there are certain clichés. Clichés that have no business on this planet, or the next. You know the type; car model, price point, and big dealer logo, and maaaaybe a directional—it’s well-tread territory. So well-tread that it’s become dull. When Hyundai of Dothan came to us for better billboard design, they wanted none of those worn out solutions—and, neither should you.

Side Story: After a successful run with OOH Creative’s Zombie Apocalypse campaign the previous year, Hyundai of Dothan and Omni Marketing Group were looking to go back-to-back and lean even harder into wildly unique in the coming year. Cue Up To Something. And in doing so, Hyundai of Dothan did not shy away from absolutely bonkers ideas. They ran this campaign, no questions asked, complete with a digital billboard takeover, inflatable face-sucker, and an illuminated flying saucer with enough LED lights to compete with your local casino.
